Sunset Ocean kayak – Dolphin Watch

Sunset is a very special time to be on the Golfo Dulce “Sweet Bay”, with soft waters it hosts big variety of fishes, ocean birds and majestic dolphins, it is an amazing experience to paddle along side schools of dolphins (back spotted, spinner and bottlenose dolphins arrive to feed in the calm bay).  We stop on the nicest swimming beach on the whole Osa Peninsula and have some fresh fruit and snacks; Then paddle back out to sea, to wait the sunset in the waters, this tour is operated every day during dry season at 3:30PM.  This trip includes all gear.

Mangrove Kayaking  Adventure

The Golfo Dulce Estuaries are a naturalist’s dream to come true.  As we travel up and down the river, it is possible to see a variety of wildlife.  Some of the birds that can be seen are parrots, eagles, hawks, falcons, kingfishers, scarlet macaws and variety of water birds.  Our specialized tour guide will show you the different species of mangrove.  Additionally you will have the opportunity to sightsee around the Gulf, exploring some of the pristine jungle near to the coastline as well as searching out dolphins, sea turtles, birds and other animals living in the Gulf.

Surf Lessons

We offer Surf Lessons 3 – 5 hours we have an excellent guide with long boards perfect for beginners and everybody stands up on their boards. You can spend the rest of the day on the beach for relax. “Cabo Matapalo beach”, a excellent right point, located across the Golfo Dulce from Pavones and can often be seen breaking from there during large swells. Get tips from a knowledgeable and helpful guide who will have you hanging-ten in no time. All equipment provided.
Including; transportation, instructor guide, beverages and a surf board.

Horsebackriding

Horse riding on a deserted stretch of tropical coastline is no longer just the makings of a soap opera. This ride departs directly from the lodge and passes along a nearby beach and along a shady county road. Explore the landscape and see the wildlife from the peacefulness and majesty of a horse. Shoes are required. Long pants are recommended.

Waterfall Climbing – Rapelling

If its adrenaline you are after, this is the tour for you. Following a short drive to the rainforest, you will be led up a densely forested streambed to the Rio Clarito Waterfall, approximately 45 minutes. Utilizing state of the art climbing equipment, you will first ascend the 40-foot waterfall. After a chance to take-in the scenery from above, your expert guide will prepare you for your rappel and the thrill of a lifetime. You may rappel as many times as you wish.

Deep Sea Fishing Tour

The famous waters of the Golfo Dulce and Pacific Ocean offer a unique combination of fishing for snapper, amberjack, rooster fish, cubera, snapper, selfish, Dorado, and yellow fin tuna. The boat, Custom Sport-Fisher is equipped with an extensive electronics package that includes a fish finder, PS, and VHF radio.  We supply all the tackle you will need for a great day of sport fishing, including, lunch, soft drinks, all the tackle and a good captain.

• ½ day fishing Inshore USD $490  – 4 Anglers.
• Full day Offshore USD $650  – 4 Anglers.

 

Search the Dolphins

Cruise the beautiful Golfo Dulce, looking for bottle-nose and spotted dolphins. If conditions are right, enjoy the rest of the wildlife in the ocean. Exotic birds, sea turtles, rays, whales and spectacular sunsets and tranquil waters make this an especially relaxing excursion. Afterwards, stop and go swimming on the nicest beach.
